Recording and Sound Libraries

Alongside my editing work I also record narration and voice over, sound effects, foley, atmospheric / ambient sound, interviews, performance, presentations and ADR.

Throughout my career I have created, recorded and collected a vast library of sounds to use in the productions I work for.

I have literally hundreds of thousands of recordings, from historical, vintage recordings of street markets to wildlife of the rainforests, race car engines to otherworldly atmospheres.

I often source my own sounds using my own field recording equipment, my kit includes numerous microphones for specialist purposes (including hydrophones for underwater recordings). I will also create new sounds using samplers, manipulation tools or synthesisers, I would like to think this offers something unique to productions.

I am always searching for new, unusual and original sounds.

As well as my own recordings I have curated libraries from many of the major sound effects providers and others from specialist recordists. My collection of sounds can lend itself to almost any type of production.
